my monthly faves: january edition

i spent the month of january off of all social media, just like i’ve done for the past several years, & it was A+++ for my mental health/clarity on all things work! here are my most loved items from this past month away 👋

1 / puffy laptop sleeve

bought this for a friend’s bday & when it came in the mail i was like “wait i need one too” 😂 it is v cute & great protection. i got the 15 inch one (even though i have a 13 inch macbook) for extra space. i like to work at coffee shops a couple times a week so instead of lugging my diaper bag with me, i just throw my laptop, planner, airpods, & pen in the laptop sleeve & call it a day.

2 / corduroy crossbody bag

i feel like a cool mom when i have this on 🤠 sooo affordable & fits wipes, diapers, hand cream, lip balm & so on lol

3 / innate fertility podcast

i love listening to podcasts (usually health or parenting) while i’m doing chores or showering. this has been one of my favorites! love her demeanor & wisdom on all things fertility + women’s health. i recently got thyroid lab work back (i’ll share more later) & so i’ve been deep diving into all of that.

4 / brown scarf

loving that biggg scarves are in again!!! i throw this one on for a walk in the evening, or you can dress it up & pair with a nice sweater for date night!

5 / dae hair oil

omg…this. smells. divine. the prickly pear scent is 💯 it keeps my hair nice & hydrated! after i shower, i just do 2-3 pumps in my hand & apply it to wet hair. it lasts forever too. i’m almosttt done with my bottle & i’ve had it for probably 6 months.

6 / diaper bag

i was vibing the free people quilted bag as a diaper bag for awhile but now with two kiddos i’m back to backpack diaper bag life. the organization setup of this one is insane. so many compartments, hooks, zippers…even a water bottle slot. it’s v cute but so easy for me to find things QUICK. i have the medium size in the color camel!

7 / heating pad

why has it taken me so long to buy a heating pad??? you know i had to find a cute one 😂 this one’s so soft & cozy & the cover is washable! i’ve used it for a crampy stomach, a crick in foster’s neck & my achey shoulders from breastfeeding. 10/10 recommend

8 / rhode lip balm

this lives up to the hype!!! GET THE ORIGINAL - not the vanilla. the vanilla got gritty on me (my WORST thing with lip balms) but the original is perf. so moisturizing & gives a pretty shineee too ✨ & y’all KNOW i am picky with my lip products.

9 / baby booties

…that actually stay on! a true miracle ✨ skip the baby socks & get this brand of booties instead. trust me on this one!

10 / merit mascara

my absolute favorite natural looking mascara! merit is sooo high quality, yet also super affordable & clean! i’ve been wearing basically a full face of merit regularly for the past few years, & my skin loves it, especially because it’s all comedogenic (aka doesn’t clog your pores). i still love my OG Honest mascara for a more dramatic lash look, but for everyday life…this one’s IT. it does NOT fall off through out the day, or irritate my sensitive eyes. read more about my full makeup routine here!
