2023 holiday gift guide: for the cozy home
i’m so excited to be back this year with another series of gift guides for the upcoming holidays! these guides were some of my favorite posts last year. one of my favorite things is searching for everyday items that are both beautiful & useful, not just for myself but also for all of you. finding a pair of wood-handled scissors or a non-silver sheet pan may seem unnecessary, but i truly believe in filling your life with items that bring joy & creativity into every potentially mundane moment 🥰
anyway, without further ado… our first guide of this year is for the cozy home! whether it’s a gift for your sister, friend, mom, significant other (or you want to send this gift guide to your s.o. as a hint…), i hope you find something that will bring joy & coziness this season :)

starting us out strong… my very favorite pans on the planet! If you’ve been around here for basically any length of time, you’ve seen me share about caraway - it’s nontoxic, nonstick cookware that is truly top of the line. i’ve owned lots of different brands of nontox/nonstick pans, but caraway blows them out of the water! i highlyyy recommend getting the full set, so you can get the cabinet organizers too! they’re a game changer. & if you want a more in-depth review, check out my full blog post review of caraway here.

i love giving games as gifts! they truly create such a cozy vibe on long winter nights—or you have something to do on Christmas Day after presents are unwrapped, before any funnnn, awkward fam convos start 😉 wavelength was gifted to us a couple years ago & it’s become a favorite in our house! you’re basically seeing how similarly you think with your team, aka it’s hysterical for partners & families to play together (lol @ seeing how different kyle & i think) 😜 grab this one for your hard-to-shop-for sibling!
3 / mini pleated lamp
the cutest tiny lamp with an adorable lampshade! this lamp would be perfect for a home office, nursery, or that random end table that needs *a little something*. gift it to your pregnant pal, or the one who always has the urge to redo her house.
4 / beeswax candle making kit
cozy home rule number one: always have a candle flickering! this beeswax candle kit is the best - not only is the vibe on point, but your recipient also gets the satisfaction of rolling each candle. would be a super cute gift paired with some fun taper candle holders (i love finding these at small local shops or world market has cute ones!). you could pull this out as a sweet activity for a girls night, or roll some and give as hostess gifts throughout the season! truly can’t go wrong here.
5 / stargazer blanket
this is a totallll barefoot dreams dupe. at a fraction of the price! perfect for the friend who just moved, or the mom who could use a minute to herself. honestly would be great as a baby blanket! i also love wrapping a different gift in this blanket - you save on wrapping paper, plus it’s so fun to get just as excited for the packaging as the present inside. i have it in cream but there’s so many cute colors, especially the brown & sage!
6 / hatch restore sound machine
we’re a big hatch sound machine fam…like, we own 5 of them! my favorite for our bedroom is the hatch restore. it doubles as a sunrise alarm clock, is sooo pretty, & has the perfect sound machine options around. parents & kids (&…everyone who sleeps with a sound machine??) will love this!
7 / breville espresso machine
sorry not sorry, my brevile espresso machine will be on every gift list i make until the end of time lol basically this is where you hand this guide to your boo & say “i want number seven” 😅 it’s an investment for sure, but trust me when i say it’s so worth it. i’ve used mine every day for the past 4 years & i’m still obsessed! i also loooove the idea of group gifts - you could totally ask your whole fam to go in on this together, instead of asking for a bunch of smaller items 👏
8 / ceramic diffuser
i love a vibe-worthy diffuser, but sometimes we just want it at a more affordable price point…& this vitruvi dupe fits the bill! perfect to pair with a few essentials oils (see #12 for my picks!).
9 / electric candle lighter
if you haven’t used an electric candle lighter yet, it is AMAZING. a perfect stocking stuffer, especially paired with those beeswax candles! everyone is always so intrigued when they see me use it, so it’s an unlikely gift in the best way.
10 / sonos record player & speaker
kyle bought this for me a few years ago, & it’s truly such a perfect present! the exact thing your loved one wouldn’t buy for themselves. so beautiful, i set mine on our console & love to turn a record on after dinner for a slow evening. it hooks up to the sonos speaker so you get the nostalgic vibe of vinyl with the excellent sound quality of a modern speaker.
11 / marble tray
for the one redoing her kitchen & wants elevated style…grab this marble tray & get celebrity home vibes at a target price 🤠 perfect for next to the sink or stove, or in a living room or bedroom for classing up a few essentials! i store our olive oil, salt cellar, & black pepper grinder in it.
12 / Young LIving Winter Oil SEt
the coziest winter scents, but make them nontoxic! they might not have the most descriptive names, but candy cane, pink champagne, & winter spa are all truly delightful & perfect scents to fill your home with during the holidays (& beyond). they smell like straight up anthropologie.

the tagline of this book is “thoughtful living with less”, which i absolutely love. this is the perfect coffee table book for your design-forward friend, or the sister-in-law who you don’t know what to buy for!

another perfect candle-related stocking stuffer! did you know you should trim your candle wick each time you light it? it helps the candle burn more evenly.
15 / bamboo bath tray
i’m not much of a bath girlie myself, but kyle LOVES a bath - so grab this for the kyle in your life! pair it with bath bombs, a candle, bottle of wine, or new book for the bath-lover to enjoy on their next evening free (or, for a parent…gift with a night of babysitting so they really have time to soak in that bath!).
